Biography: I qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998, receiving a Bsc (hons) Degree from Manchester University. Since then I have spent the last 11 years developing my skills and specialising in within the NHS. I have completed a Bobath course as well as other specialist physiotherapy courses, and I have almost completed the Bodycontrol Pilates qualification all of which have given me expertise in understanding the human body and facilitating both joint and muscular movement. I put special efforts into my communication with you the client, allowing you to understand your problems and regain control of your body whatever your condition.The hands on techniques I have developed throughout my career help you to automatically move in the most efficient ways your body and joints can, as well as targeting and treating specific areas of injury.The Pilates Method I have learned allows me to give you control of your body and achieve the movement patterns and functions (tasks, abilities) you want to do, through my verbal prompting, voice tone and simple language used so it is easy to understand and do yourself.Within my 11 years experience in physiotherapy I have had and continue to have many satisfied repeat clients.
