Biography: Dr. Marlon O. Lajo is a board certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Lajo is also a Fellowof  the Philippine Association Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons,Inc.(PAPRAS), a bonafide surgical specialty society of the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS). PCS only recognizes surgical societies/specialties whose members undergo duly accredited training programs in order to attain utmost in terms of surgical skills and ethical practice. Also he is a Member of the International Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS).Dr. Marlon Lajo believes that the decision to operate should be made for medical or surgical reason with regard to the patient and not for the surgeon’s ambition, convenience, pride or fiscal needs. “Dont undertake that operation if you think you cannot give your patient the result he or she expects, either consciously or unconsciously,” Doc Marlon advises to his colleagues.Dr. Marlon Lajo believes that no operation is truly minor. He considers every operation a major case. “Just treat every patient as if he or she is your close relative,” he emphasizes.  During his 6 years of rigorous and intensive residency training in Plastic surgery in the hospital, his U.S.-trained mentors would always remind him that a good surgeon is not necessarily someone whose hands move fast but someone with adequate foresight…whose brain keeps ahead of the next step in the procedure.
