Biography: Mr Abood is a consultant plastic & reconstructive surgeon, working both in the NHS and private practice. After graduating from Cambridge University, he undertook his plastic surgery training in some of the leading hospitals in the UK. His training has included prestigious fellowships at centres of excellence in Australia and America. He has been a consultant plastic surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge since 2013,  where he is the lead plastic surgeon for the major trauma service and is an integral member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team.Mr Abood founded The Day Clinic in 2023.  His vision for the clinic was the culmination of  many years’ experience across NHS and private healthcare systems. Mr Abood wanted to create a bespoke out-patient facility capable of efficiently diagnosing and treating common healthcare needs in a streamlined and accessible way. The concept evolved through the Covid pandemic, adapting to meet  the changing healthcare needs of the community.
