Biography: Short Bio:Prof. Major graduated from Medical Department of Collegium Medicum at Jagiellonian University (CMJU). Since then he partnered with II department of surgery at CMJU. Since 2010 he has been specializing in general surgery at the Endoscopic, Metabolic Surgery and Soft Tissue Tumors Clinic of the University Hospital in Krakow. Author and coauthor of numerous scientific papers published in national and international medical journals. In 2014 he received his doctorate. In his career he performed over 1600 bariatric procedures (i.e. laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, revision procedures) and ca. 1100 other laparoscopic procedures.
