Ambulant Physiotherapy Ltd specialises in Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries and has over 10 Senior HCPC Registered Chartered Physiotherapists who offer detailed assessment & diagnosis for various conditions. They provide advice on exercise and mobilisation programmes, preventative measures, and offer treatments such as massage, ultrasound and
acupuncture for pain relief and rehabilitation for complete recovery from injuries.
We also offer a wide variety of holistic services, such as sports therapy, full body massages, Swedish, Remedial and Indian Head Massage. We also offer weekly Pilates classes. Also available are holistic therapies, aromatherapy massage, reflexology, homeopathy, Hopi ear candles etc. We also offer treatments specialised for women and pregnancy.
New to Ambulant Physiotherapy Ltd is Psychotherapy. This is counselling that can help with many deep issues.
All health insurances and private medical insurance claims are accepted. Home visits can be arranged on request.

Biography: Anamaria qualified as a physiotherapist from University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania in 2012.During a 2 years Master degree in Rehabilitation at University of Romania she worked in a private practice as a physiotherapist part time and consolidated her knowledge.In 11 years experience in clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes using manual therapy to restore joint mechanics followed by muscle retraining and motor control strategies to correct movement dysfunction.She provides individualised, one-on-one treatment and develops exercise programs geared towards the level and goals of the patient.Anamaria has a passion for helping people, while empowering them to contribute to their own healing.She takes the time to find the root of a person’s problem, and then together with them, creates a plan to address the immediate concern as well as enhance daily living after rehabilitation and prevent reoccurrences.

Biography: Catherine Merritta Lazarus trained as a Physiotherapist at the Christian Medical college, Vellore, India in 2007.After that she has worked in a Multispecialty Hospital in Chennai, India where she worked in the area Women’s Health among other musculoskeletal, Neuro, Geriatric and Rehab Areas.Following this she has worked in a Physiotherapy and Wellness centre as a clinical Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainer for a period of 5 years.Here at the Ambulant, she is the Women’s Health Physiotherapist and a registered member of POGP and treats a wide range of Women’s health problems like Urinary incontinence, Bowel Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Post -Pregnancy problems like Diastasis Recti Abdominis, Post c-section scar Mobilization, Low Back Pain and Female Pelvic Pain.She does detailed assessments and gives adequate education and Therapy according to the Individual Needs of the Patient.

Biography: Stephen trained at the University of Liverpool School of Physiotherapy, graduating with honours in 1997.He has since been in full time NHS employment specialising in musculoskeletal disorders in 2001.He currently works as an ‘Extended Scope Practitioner’ for Blackpool Teaching Hospitals in their MSK service.Since qualifying, Stephen has undertaken various post graduate training courses.He gained membership of the MACP (musculoskeletal society of chartered physiotherapists) in 2002 and completed a Master’s Degree in 2008.He then completed his training as an injection therapist in 2010 and as an independent non-medical prescriber in 2015.He is also a qualified MSK Sonographer and uses diagnostic ultrasound to aid patient examination and to provide image guided injections.Stephen has lectured and examined for the University of Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Central Lancashire.He has extensive musculoskeletal experience but has a particular interest in disorders of the hand and wrist.Stephen joined Ambulant Physiotherapy in 2018 as our injection therapist.He is able to provide image guided joint and soft tissue injections for a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems.

Biography: Martha opened Ambulant Physiotherapy Ltd in January 2005 and she has put a lot of hard work and energy into making the practice the success that it is today.The clinic offers physiotherapy appointments six days a week.Martha graduated from Coventry University in 1997.She is a chartered physiotherapist and has broad knowledge and experience from several NHS hospitals around England, and has been specialising in the musculo-skeletal field over the last 7 years.She partakes in postgraduate courses to continue her professional development, to maintain a high level of knowledge, and also to learn new treatment techniques.Recent courses include updates in acupuncture, muscle energy techniques, kinetic control and Swingbuster®.Martha frequently works with a wide variety of patients and has extensive knowledge of how best to treat a range of injuries.
