We welcome patients from York, Yorkshire and the UK for all treatments and general dentistry. Dentists from across the North of England refer their patients to our team for advanced dentistry.
Our Grade II listed building has five state-of-the-art surgeries, and our world-class technology includes a 3D CT Scanner and digital imaging equipment so we can care for you with precision.
Our practice has some of the latest technology including a 3DCT scanner and intra-oral digital scanners, giving precise information used in precision planning.

Biography: Andrea is multi-award-winning, a small business entrepreneur, director of three companies, author, co-founder of an organisation inspiring women, deeply involved in supporting survivors of trafficking in Nepal, and a motivational speaker.Andrea grew up in the Lake District and was the first in her whole extended family to take A levels, going on to do dentistry at Leeds, graduating in 1991. In the late 1990s, Andrea was blown away by the cosmetic dentistry that was being done in America. It was not like any dentistry that she had seen before. So she went over to learn the skills at an eminent practice in Maddison Avenue, New York. She brought these techniques back to the UK and became one of the pioneering cosmetic dentists in the country.

Biography: Dr Monika Jaidka BDS MJDF RCS ENG DIP REST DENT RCS ENG, CERT IMPLANT DENTMonika carries out Dental Implant treatment on patients referred by other dentists as well as those that self-refer. She has limited her clinical practice exclusively to this clinical discipline.She has a 99.9% success rate with dental implants.Monika holds the Certificate in Dental Implantology and was accredited ‘The Best Dentist Award’. She was awarded the Membership of Joint Dental Faculty (MJDF) by Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2008 after qualifying with a BDS in India. Following this, she continued her training in Restorative Dentistry and gained Post Graduate Certificate in Practical Restorative Dentistry in 2009 and a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from The Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2011. He has limited his clinical practice exclusively to these clinical disciplines.Adam Qualified in 1996 from Leeds University with BChD. He has undertaken numerous postgraduate courses. Adam is an extremely experienced dental surgeon with a special interest in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, sedation and facial aesthetics. He holds the Advanced Implant Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the diploma in Conscious Sedation. Biography: Stephen dedicates most of his private practice to Minimally Invasive Dentistry and Invisalign, focussing on the treatment of cosmetic dentistry, teeth straightening and tooth surface loss cases. Stephen is an Invisalign Platinum Provider. He provides veneers, crowns and endodontic surgery in conjunction with our implant and orthodontic team.Stephen loves to help patients by using digital photography and computer aided design to plan their case and create a virtual smile makeover before treatment starts. Biography: Tarun is a Consultant Orthodontist at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.He completed his dental degree at the University of Bristol in 2011 before his specialist training at Derriford Hospital in the South West. He gained Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, whilst simultaneously completing a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Bristol between 2014 and 2017. Tarun completed his consultant training at Leeds Dental Institute and York Hospital in 2019 and gained a Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons (FDS(Orth)).Tarun has won awards for both his clinical and academic achievements. He treats a variety of complex malocclusions with a special interest in the multi-disciplinary management of hypodontia (missing teeth), complex orthodontic-restorative treatment and treatment of patients with complex facial deformity.

Biography: Tim is a highly experienced dentist with special interests in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics including complex tooth wear cases and dentures, root canal treatment, the treatment of gum disease and sedation.Tim qualified in 1996 from Newcastle with a distinction in Child Dental Health and Oral Medicine, Pathology and Radiology. He has been working alongside the consultants at Scarborough Hospital for more than 15 years as Clinical Assistant in Restorative Dentistry, helping patients who have been struggling with dentures, resolving restorative dental problems referred by other dentists and doctors, and providing post-cancer treatment.Tim has also been a Clinical Demonstrator in Restorative Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute for several years, training undergraduates.In 2019 Tim was awarded a distinction in his MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from King’s College London. This was a 4-year, double Master’s degree covering all aspects of restorative dentistry including simple fillings, gum disease, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, dentures, implant-retained prostheses, and the material science underpinning all of these.He is a postgraduate tutor by King’s College for future intakes of candidates.

Biography: James is our Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) and has over 16 years’ experience in the dental technology field. James qualified as a Dental Technician in 2007 from Leeds Dental Institute. James qualified as a CDT through the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. As a CDT James works directly with patients from the chairside, and creates the dentures himself in the dental laboratory, using advanced denture materials.James has completed the Ivoclar iDenture course a course for achieving aesthetic full dentures, and looks to achieve the most natural looking dentures with exceptional fit using the most advanced materials.James works with Implantologist Dr Adam Glassford to provide Same Day Teeth.
