Biography: Education: In 1997, Dr. Arzu Akçal graduated from Pertevniyal High School in Istanbul and commenced medical education at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty within the same year.Specialisation: They completed their specialisation training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, which is recognised as one of Turkey's leading plastic surgery clinics. In 2009, they earned the title of Operative Doctor.Advanced Studies: During the residency, the individual pursued a master's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Halic University, Faculty of Science.Professional Experience: After finishing the specialisation training, they worked at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of Ghent University in Belgium. Upon their return to Turkey, they were appointed to Kilis State Hospital to fulfill their compulsory state service, where they worked from 2011 to 2013.Academic Position: In subsequent years, they served as an Assistant Professor at Akdeniz University for four years.Research Opportunities: Throughout this period, they participated in international research at Stanford University, School of Medicine, Plastic Surgery Clinic in the United States.
