Biography: He was born in Hatay in 1977. After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Hatay, he completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between 1995-2001.He received his general surgery training at the 4th surgery clinic of Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2002-2006. He completed his military service in Balıkesir Military Hospital between 2006-2007. During this time, he also worked part-time at Private Bursa Acıbadem Hospital.He started his compulsory service in Mardin State Hospital in 2007-2008, and in 2008 he was appointed to the 4th surgery clinic of Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. Working at Ankara Occupational Diseases Hospital between 2009-2012, Dr. Turgut KARACA was appointed to Iskenderun State Hospital in November 2012.He took an active role in the establishment of the Burn Treatment Unit in 2013 and the Wound Care Unit in 2014 at Iskenderun State Hospital.He received the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery in April 2016.
