Biography: Director of Bense SurgiSpa , RN, CPN(C), OA. She is the Clinical Director of Bense SurgiSpa for the past 12 years, since it’s inception. In addition to managing the operation of this clinic, she takes an active role in the provision of all forms of aesthetic therapies and treatments within the Center. As well, she performs surgical assist duties in support of aesthetic and ophthalmic surgery. She is nationally certified in peri-operative nursing. A former Head Operating Room Nurse with Eastern Health, she has over 30 years working experience in operating room procedures, equipment and drug protocols, and extensive experience in general, vascular and plastic surgery.She is the past President of the Canadian Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses (CSORN). Prior to joining Bense SurgiSpa, she coordinated the establishment of day surgery ophthalmological surgical services at Eastern Health General Hospital site. Kristine served on the first RN Surgical Assist Committee established in Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as on a variety of hospital working committees. In addition to her work with Eastern Health, Kristine has worked as a General Duty Nurse with Norwegian Cruise Lines. She graduated from the Grace Hospital Registered Nursing program, and holds a post-Diploma Certifcate (Registered Nurses Operating Room Program) from the George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology. She is also a graduate of Memorial University Nurse Leadership Development Program, and has completed programs in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Peri-operative nursing and ophthalmic medical assistance.

Biography: Registered Nurse, R.N, CCN (C). She has worked in collaboration with Bense Medical Aesthetics for the last 3 years but has been actively involved in medical aesthetics for over 8 years now. She attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and the Grace General Hospital where she completed her diploma as a Registered Nurse in 1996. After receiving her diploma Heather attended George Brown College in Toronto and completed her diploma in critical care medicine. She worked in the field of critical care for seven years and subsequently at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer center as a certified chemotherapy nurse before training in medical aesthetics.

Biography: Patient Care Coordinator. She has been a valued member of the Bense SurgiSpa team since 2000. Anne plays a key role on the Bense team by coordinating care for patients, both in the clinic and at home. Anne is the initial contact and provides an effective communication link between patient and medical staff. She schedules inpatient and outpatient appointments, handles non-appointment related calls, follows up with patients, and works within the team to offer five star patient care.
