Biography: Dr Eleni is a Senior Lecturer & Consultant Oral Surgeon at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.complex teeth extractions (including wisdom teeth, ectopic teeth in adults and children);surgical procedures to assist orthodontic treatment (including expose and bond of canines, implant placement and bone augmentation/grafting);management of cyst, soft tissue biopsies;IV sedation; andtreating facial pain – including a special interest in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) pain.Training:Following her graduation with honours from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece in 2010, she worked and trained at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals, at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL and at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, NHS Lothian (where she completed her specialist training in Oral Surgery in 2018). Dr Eleni completed her Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, UCL and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery for bone and nerve regeneration at Edinburgh University alongside her NHS training. Following the completion of her training she was appointed as an NHS Consultant in the same hospital.
