Biography: Hi, I’m Furqan… I grew up in Scotland and qualified at Dundee University in 2002, before moving down to Nottingham to start work as a dentist. I opened Bottesford Dental Practice in 2011 hoping to improve dental health in the local community and surrounding villages - and to create a dental practice to be proud of. I really enjoy working as a general dental practitioner, doing different treatments every day and I’m increasing my skills for the future with implant training. When I’m not working I enjoy listening to music and going to concerts and festivals. I like football, but unfortunately for me, I am a big Tottenham Hotspur fan. I love food and going to restaurants and trying different cuisines – and I also like to cook at home. I got married in 2012 to my wife, Safeera, and have recently taken up running although I’m not sure how long my knees will hold out?
