Dr David Gill

Biography: He successfully completed his Bachelor or Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the Melbourne University in 1991, and attained a Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology from Monash University in 1998. He then entered dermatology training, attaining the Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2002. In 2010, David was awarded Fellowship to the American Society of Moh’s Surgery. His other areas of interest include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, general dermatology. He also regularly consults at The Royal Melbourne Hospital in the dermatology outpatients and skin cancer surgery.

Biography: He graduated from Melbourne University in 1993 and attained his Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2002. He spent part of his training time at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’ Hospital in London. His areas of expertise include skin cancer diagnosis and treatment (advanced surgery, photodynamic therapy). He treats many patients with acne, acne scarring, dermatitis, psoriasis and hair loss problems. He also has an interest in cosmetic dermatology, such as coolsculpting, laser treatments and cosmetic injections. Dr Poon is a visiting consultant senior dermatologist at the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg. He runs a specialist oral mucosal clinic at the “Skin and Cancer Foundation” in Carlton, and visits rooms in Eltham fortnightly.
