About Davenport House Clinic
Davenport House Chiropody, Podiatry and Physiotherapy clinic is located in the leafy town of Stalybridge in Greater Manchester.
The clinic is located in a historic building but is fitted with modern equipment and has comfortable treatment rooms. The rooms are light and spacious and still have many of the original features of the building.
From back pain to foot pain to sports injuries and ingrown toenails Davenport House Clinic is home to expert foot care specialists and physiotherapists. All Practitioners are registered with the Health Professions Council and are qualified to the highest level.
There are many treatment modalities available at Davenport House Clinic including a state of the art gait laboratory and orthotic manufacturing facility. We have treated many local and regional sportsmen and women as well as the Right to Dream team who visited us from Ghana.

Biography: Hi, I’?m Tony and welcome to Davenport House Clinic. I am the Clinical Director and Podiatrist here at the clinic.I am passionate about my work, and have been very fortunate to have such varied aspects to my work, which has included being a visiting lecturer at Huddersfield University, presenting at G.P. education events on the diabetic foot, and also making quite a few media appearances talking about foot health and all things related to feet.I am committed to my professional development, and frequently attend courses to ensure I am offering the best care in my practice. I have a specific interest in biomechanics and here at Davenport House Clinic we have recently opened ProGait which is our exciting new Gait Analysis suite. Using state of the art equipment and industry leading software I am able to carry out Full Body 4-sided Motion Gait Analysis. I am highly skilled in fitting and manufacture of specialist custom made orthotics.I am very proud to have treated many elite and aspiring athletes from footballers to long distance runners and most recently we welcomed the Right to Dream Academy football team to the clinic, all the way from Africa.In my personal life, I am married to Becky, the Practice Manager and Director and we have recently welcomed our son Samuel into the world. I have a very keen interest in motorbikes and my beloved Liverpool Football Club, which always leads to some interesting conversations since I moved to Manchester. I also enjoy walking and running up in the hills with our dog Roxie.

Biography: Our Physiotherapist, Jill Harrison is chartered and state registered. This guarantees that a Physiotherapists qualification is properly recognised, that they are governed by a professional code of conduct and are covered by professional liability insurance. For more information we recommend the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy site.Jill has extensive experience in the Public and Private sector, with her most recent role being an Occupational Extended Scope Physiotherapist for Greater Manchester Police. Jill has also worked with representative and club rugby teams of various ages. She enjoys working with a variety of clients from the sportsperson to the Occupational athlete, tailoring the rehabilitation process to the individual and their role.
