Biography: She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and grew up just outside the city in Fall River. She attended Mount Saint Vincent University for her undergraduate degree and received her Bachelor of Science in 2003. Having an interest in dentistry that started from a very early age, she then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Dalhousie University in 2007. After graduation Heather lived in both Victoria, BC and Ottawa, ON before returning back home. This provided her with the opportunity to work with and learn from other dentists all across Canada. She enjoys all aspects of the profession with a special interest in oral surgery and endodontics (root canal treatment) and happily devotes part of her time as a instructor at the Dalhousie dental school. She is a member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Halifax County Dental Society. She is also Sedation Certified. When she's not working, Heather enjoys travelling with her husband, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
