Biography: Mark qualified from the University of Witwatersrand in 1981. He then spent 23 happy years in private practice in London before ` seeing the light` and returning to Cape Town. He is a member of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists and involved in numerous international Study Groups. On his return to Cape Town he was approached to start the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, of which he is now Vice President. Mark’s passion and focus lies in Cosmetic and Advanced restorative dentistry and he has been involved in all aspects of Implant dentistry. Mark continues to travel the world to make sure that he has the best skills available to his patients. He is committed to evidence based dentistry and the practice makes use of the most up to date, state of the art technology to provide beautiful smiles

Biography: Emma King qualified as an oral hygienist at the University of Stellenbosch in 1992. She has worked in private practice for the past 18 years gaining vast experience in preventative oral health as well as periodontal treatment and maintenance. Emma’s main passion lies in the aesthetic aspects of dentistry associated mainly with tooth whitening. She is on the committee of the Oral Hygiene Association of South Africa and carries out the sponsorship work for BriteSmile South Africa, as well as being a Professional spokesperson for Colgate. She has written over 20 articles on tooth whitening and oral health for various publications. Emma is passionate about wildlife, photography, and her gardening. She is a qualified Horticulturist and believes that continued education is the key to providing the best service for her patients.
