About Dental Essence - Tanglin
Dental Essence is a family and general dental clinic and is committed to providing conservative and quality dentistry at affordable prices. Established by Dr Andrew Lui BDSc (Melbourne) and Dr Gareth Pearson BDS MSc (UK) in 2009, who collectively have more than 30 years of experience and have been treating locals and expatriates of all ages.
Preservation and Conservation of teeth is our priority.
Our services are: General, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implant, Invisalign...
Our associate dentists are from the UK, Australia and Singapore. We work with and recommend our patients only to our trusted Orthodontists, Endodontists and Oral Surgeons.

Biography: General Dental Surgeon BDS (Melbourne) DIRECTORDr. Andrew Lui is an Australian dentist from Melbourne. He is an old boy of the Melbourne High School and Alumni of both the University of Melbourne and of the University of London, obtaining a dental degree and a law degree respectively. In Melbourne, he sat on the Australian Dental Association’s Public Sector Dentist Committee in Victoria. He also contributed regularly to the Royal Guide Dogs’ Association as a volunteer carer for the visually impaired.He moved to Singapore in 2001 and set up Dental Essence with Dr Gareth Pearson in 2009. He enjoys precious family time with his wife and 2 young daughters. Despite his work and family commitments, he serves as a volunteer dentist with the Tzu Chi free clinic on a regular basis and has been doing so since 2007.

Biography: General Dental Surgeon BDS MSc (UK) DIRECTORDr. Pearson arrived in Singapore in 2001 and has worked here since opening Dental Essence with Dr. Andrew Lui in 2009. Gareth obtained his degree from the University of Birmingham in the UK and later pursued a Master’s degree in Forensic Odontology in 2000 which was put to use following the Asian Tsunami on 2004. He is a general dentist and has years of experience in oral surgery and aesthetic dentistry such as teeth whitening, inlays, ceramic veneers, crowns and bridges.
