Biography: He graduated in 1979 FROM THE University of BOMBAY. Dr Das then further enhanced his qualification by obtaining a Masters in Endodontics from the University of Bombay, and also qualified to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination in 2002, leading to credentials of BDS, MDS FRACDS. HE has now successfully completed a two year program from the prestigious Goethe University in Frankfurt Germany in Oral Implants, leading to a Masters degree in the field of Dental Implants and credentials of MSc – Oral implants(Germany). He has worked in the Indian Navy, Ministry of Health Libya, New Zealand Air Force, South Western Sydney Area health Services and now in Private practice in Brisbane since 2002. In his 31 years of practice since graduation, he has gained a large wealth of experience and knowledge and now has focused on treating patients with missing and failing teeth with Dental Implants. He is an Academic Title holder as Lecturer at the University of Queensland and teaches part time at the Dental School Brisbane He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and Australian Osseointegegration Society, holds an accreditation from the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons(FRACDS), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists(FICOI). He is a graduate of the Brener Implant Institute in Sydney. He pdates his knowledge and practical skills by attending various courses in Australia and overseas, such as the Advanced Implantology course for complex cases at the University in Vienna and various courses at the Pikos Implant Institute, USA.

Biography: She graduated from the University of Bombay in 1984, Chitra then enhanced her qualification by completing the Advanced Dental Studies at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in USA. Her main interest is in the Restorative phase of Implant Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation and Management of Pain related to Jaw and TMJ. She is also interested in Neuromuscular Dentistry. Neuromuscular Dentistry deals with problems associated with abnormalities associated with the bite position of the patient and associated pains in the neck, back and head. It involves understanding the abnormality by using various scans of the jaw and neck muscles and bringing it into a favourable position of occlusion. She has an accreditation in Implant Dentistry from the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, and is a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry. Dr Chitra is a Graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), and a Member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Dr Chitra has done the Residency Programme under Dr Steven Olmos in Comprehensive Sleep and TMD studies. Dr Chitra has also attended the Advanced courses at the Misch Implant Institute for the Restorative Phase of Dental Implants. She is continually attending other courses in these areas to ensure that her expertise and knowledge are second to none. She is also a proud mother of two lovely children, Ashwati and Vineet. Ashwati is an aerospace engineer in the USA and Vineet is a doctor at The Royal Brisbane Hospital.

Biography: BAppHsc(Oral Health). She is our Hygienist and Oral Therapist. Alana has additional Qualifications as an Oral Myologist, by attending advanced courses in the USA. She is trained to identify abnormal Oral habits in Children and Adults which lead to malocclusion, educate and correct Nasal breathing patterns which help reduce symptoms of Asthma, allergies and snoring, identify sleep apnoea and advice referrals for Sleep study. She is very thorough with her work and is a very conscientious person, gentle and caring. She also keeps herself abreast with the latest knowledge in Hygiene and Myology.
