About Dr. Alvar García -Reynosa Branch
Dr. Alvar García studied in the University Hospital, in medicine, one of the most prestigious universities in Mexico. He joined the residency of general surgery, then a subspeciality in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the university, where he served as chief resident.
He continued his studies with several fellowships in which he trained with the best doctors. He was accepted in the, Pennsylvania (UPMC) and made a rotation in Body Contouring Surgery in hand of Dr. Peter Rubin and Dr. Dennis J. Hurwitz, pioneers in the field.
Later he continued his training with Dr. Bahaman Guyuron in Cleveland, Ohio in the field of Nasal Surgery (Rhinoplasty) and Migraine Correction Surgery. He completed his training with Dr. James Stuzin in Miami, Florida, which studies advanced Facelift techniques.
He is an active member of the (AMCPER). He is certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and an active member of the Association of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Nuevo Leon.
