Biography: He is the lead for Audit in the Cambridge Breast Unit He is faculty for the MSc Oncoplastic Breast Surgery (Uni. of East Anglia) In a short time of 2 years since his appointment, he has transformed Cambridge Breast Unit into an Oncoplastic Breast Surgical Unit by introducing: – Advanced Oncoplastic Breast Conserving Surgical techniques – Reconstructive Surgery service (previously only provided by plastic surgery colleagues) – Breast Surgery Audit mechanisms and meetings and – now is spear-heading regularisation of “Patient Reported Outcomes Measures (PROMS)”, a measure of ensuring highest possible quality of surgery as reported by patients themselves.
