Biography: MD Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. He is a leading Welland, St. Catherine and Niagra Region Plastic Surgeon specializing in a wide range of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Bengezi has been practicing in Welland and Niagara Falls, Ontario since early 2004, and has been in the field of surgery for over twenty years. Dr. Bengezi started his medical training in Libya with an M.B.B.S before moving to Slovenia for his post-graduate specializations in General and Abdominal Surgery. This has been followed by another specialization in Abdominal Ultrasound accredited by the World Health Organization (WHO). There he also completed his first specialization in General and Abdominal Surgery after which he spent three years as an assistant professor in surgery at the University of Benghazi- Libya. He then relocated to Canada for five years of residency training in Plastic Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, followed by fellowship training at Scarborough General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Bengezi is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada) as well as a member of the International College of Surgeons since 1994.
