Biography: Dr. Drimouras is a board certified Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon by both the Greek Board of Plastic Surgery and the European Council of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery - EBOPRAS. He has specialized in the Aesthetic Facial Surgery & the Breast Surgery and in the Reconstructive Surgery of Skin Tumors, with trainings which were held close to internationally renowned Plastic Surgeons.The specialization in Reconstructive Surgery of Skin Tumors took part in the Hospital "A. Syggros" in Athens, close to Professor of Plastic Surgery Dr. Papadopoulos, wherein Dr. Drimouras practiced in the aesthetic reconstruction of defects after removal of skin lesions, and in the treatment of skin melanoma.Further training in Aesthetic Facial Surgery & Breast Surgery held in Clinic IASO, next to Plastic Surgeon Dr. Foustanos, where Dr. Drimouras trained in the face lift procedures and in the plastic surgery of the breast.The training in the specialty of Plastic Surgery started in the Department of General Surgery in Argos Hospital next to the General Surgeon Dr. Malegkos and completed in the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit in "KAT" Hospital of Athens, by Director Dr. Panayiotou. During this time, Dr. Drimouras went to St Thomas' London Hospital, where he attended the work of the Department of Plastic Surgery.Dr. Drimouras is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Timisoara. He holds a post-graduate title of the Medical School of the University of Athens in "International Medicine - Health Crisis Management", under Director Professor of General Surgery Dr. Rosenberg. Dr. Drimouras is a PhD candidate of the Medical School of the University of Athens for reconstruction of lower leg defects with perforator flaps, under the supervision of Professor of Plastic Surgery Dr. Papadopoulos.Dr. Drimouras is a member of the following scientific societies: Greek Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (HESPRAS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), Greek Society of Melanoma Study (ELEMMEL), International Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS), European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (ESPRAS) and Fellow of European Boards of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS).Dr. Drimouras has attended many Greek and International seminars in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and in Microsurgery. He has participated in numerous oral scientific presentations and has authored the book "Handbook of Plastic Surgery: A Practical Guide".Dr. Drimouras is attending Plastic Surgery congresses for the continuous updating and upgrading, aiming to provide a high scientific level of medical services, in the most secure way, achieving harmonious and natural results.
