Born in 1975 in Ankara, Dr. İlker YAZICI graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In the same year, he started his specialization in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. 

In 2004, Dr. YAZICI, who received his Plastic Surgery Specialization in 2004, worked as a Research Fellow in the Plastic Surgery / Microsurgery Department of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the United States for 1 year and 3 months between 2004-2005. During this period, he published many original articles. Among them are the first in vivo applications on bony face transplantation, upper jaw and tooth transplants with preserved nutrition. In addition to face transplantation, he gained experience in microcirculation, tissue freezing techniques and experimental neurosurgery. He worked as a freelance physician for 1 year between 2005-2006. In 2007, he completed his military service at GATA Haydarpaşa Hospital. Between 2008-2013 (including a period in 2006), he worked as a faculty member in the field of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine. He actively trained assistants and students as well as continuing his surgical services. 

Dr. İlker YAZICI has experience and foreground interest in microsurgical reconstruction. In 2012, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He was entitled to receive a diploma in Hand Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Subspecialties by the Ministry of Health. In 2012, he was awarded the EURAPS Young Scholarship scholarship and worked at Helsinki Töölö Hospital for three months. In 2012, he took the two-step exam and received the EBOPRAS (European Board Certificate in Plastic Surgery) certificate. Dr. YAZICI has two patent applications in his field. 

Dr. İlker YAZICI, who worked as an Associate Professor at Istanbul Bilim University and Şişli-Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital between 2013-2016, was awarded the title of Professor of Plastic Surgery at Medipol University Faculty of Medicine in 2018. Between 2018 and 2022, he served at Medipol University. Since 2022, he has been practicing medicine in his own private clinic in Şişli district. Dr. YAZICI speaks fluent / advanced English. Dr. YAZICI, who has advanced interest and experience in aesthetic nose surgery, is especially interested in facial paralysis correction and aesthetic tumor and reconstructive procedures of the head and neck region; body and breast aesthetics, cancer reconstructions.
