Biography: Director and Principal Surgeon of Central Coast Weight Loss and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has trained extensively in keyhole surgery techniques both in Australia and overseas. In 1998, he graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney Medical School.For the next decade, he proceeded to work and train with eminent Australian and international surgeons in weight loss surgery, gastric banding, gastro-oesophageal surgery, endoscopy and endocrine surgery. The focus was on minimally invasive and keyhole techniques. He enjoys seeing patients lose weight permanently from weight loss surgery after many years of failed diets and a constant cycle of weight loss followed by weight gain.He obtained his specialist qualification in surgery (Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) in 2006. He has performed over 1000 keyhole abdominal surgeries and has been involved in hundreds of keyhole weight loss surgeries including lap bands, gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and gastric band removals.
