Associate Professor  Sedat Tatar M.D, FACS,FEBOPRAS  is a double board Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon who is internationally awarded by American College of Surgeons ( FACS)  and European Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Dr Sedat has 14 years experience and performed over 4000 surgeries. He has his own clinic located in the center of Istanbul and performs his surgeries at the best Hospital in Istanbul.

He completed his medical education at Gazi University in 2008 and started his specialization training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University, which was his first choice in the Medical Specialization Exam (TUS)  and  he became an Plastic,Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon specialist at 2015.Alongside his national board certification provided by Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, he passed the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) exam and completed the requirements of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and received the title of “Fellow” of the European Board  of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS). In 2018 he won the European Association of Plastic Surgeons, Young Plastic Surgeon Scholarship award (EURAPS YPSS)  and worked on breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery  with Prof.Jian Farhadi , at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital, Department of Plastic Surgery in London, United Kingdom. In 2019 he was inducted into the American College of Surgeons and became a Fellow of American College of Surgeons (FACS).This was the milestone of his surgical career and he is the youngest Plastic Surgeon in Turkey whom has this title.As a result of his scientific researches, presentations at international and national congress and lectures  he received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. In 2022, he worked with  Dr Alexander Aslani on BBL and Body Contouring  surgery in Marbella, Spain. Currently, Dr. TATAR practices in his private clinic based in Istanbul, Turkey.
