Biography: He is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is the President of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the leading aesthetic surgery organization in Canada. He his also a member of the Quebec Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons, of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Millard Society and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been a professor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Montreal and an examinator for the certification of plastic surgeons by the Royal College of Surgeons. He graduated from the University of Montreal in 1979 and received his Certification in Plastic Surgery in 1984. He then completed a fellowship at the University of Miami with international leaders in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. After his return in Montreal, he has been practicing the art of plastic surgery at Sacré-Coeur Hospital and Ste-Justine Hospital where he has founded the Provincial Craniofacial Center in 1993. This Center is dedicated to the treatment of children with severe facial deformities and Dr Larocque is particularly proud of this realization.
