East Point Vision provides specialist ophthalmic consultation, treatment, and surgery for a range of ophthalmic conditions including the major causes of blindness. Our aim is to provide you with the very best care, focused on your own unique needs and at a time that suits you. No waiting lists, no trainees.

Craig Goldsmith

Biography: Craig Goldsmith (MACantab MB Bchir FRCOphth) graduated in medicine from Cambridge University and after some inspiring eye surgery experience while travelling in Africa he settled on ophthalmology as a career, following hard work in A&E and general medicine. Craig is the Clinical Lead for the East Anglian Diabetic Eye Screening Service and a national peer-reviewer for Public Health England, and was clinical lead for the James Paget eye department until 2014. He has over 35 publications including peer-reviewed papers and articles.

Tom Butler

Biography: Mr Tom Butler is a consultant ophthalmologist at James Paget University Hospital, specialising in refractive cataract surgery, cornea and ocular surface disease. He trained in Leeds and Nottingham, before gaining international sub-specialty training at the Sydney Eye Hospital, and the Save Sight Institute, University of Sydney, Australia, where he developed his skills in corneal surgery, corneal transplantation and complex cataract surgery.

Ben Burton

Biography: Mr Burton graduated from Cambridge University in 1990 and went on to train in Ophthalmology at the world famous Moorfields Eye Hospital completing a retinal fellowship in 2005 and working there as a consultant before moving to Norfolk in 2007. He has published 6 chapters, 31 papers and is actively involved in research studies for Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and Retinal Vein Occlusions.
