Biography: Certified by American Academy of Otolaryngology: 2001. He is a board certified otolaryngological surgeon who lives and practices here in Bakersfield. He is on staff at three hospitals and two surgery centers here to ensure your safety and quality of care. He has over 10 years of surgical experience. An Ivy League medical school graduate, he trained at UCLA, UCI and UNM. He attended prestigious Bronx High School of Science, where also began performing medical research at Cornell University Medical College. He would later go on to graduate with Honors in Research, after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. During college he did research in Plastic Surgery at UCLA. While at Cornell he did research on correcting facial deformity with bone lengthening at the world famous NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery that was published in the leading Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal. He did his surgical training at UCLA, UC Irvine and the University of New Mexico Department of Otolaryngology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he had an unusually advanced hands-on operative experience. Dr. Fisher also published a paper in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery during the ear, nose and throat portion of his surgical training. He was invited to speak at the annual American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery about his breakthrough research in facial beauty. An article has been published in Cosmetic Surgery Times covering Dr. Fisher’s research in this area. He also authored a chapter in one of the most used and important textbooks in the field, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a member of American Medical Association, California Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
