Biography: Dr Jerzy Wilgus is one of the most famous and highly-regarded plastic surgeons in Poland. He was awarded the title of a specialist in the field of plastic surgery on the 24th of November 1992. He began his work in the biggest and at the same time the most well-known plastic surgery centre in Polanica Zdrój where the acquired knowledge and experience enabled him to obtain a second-degree specialization in the field of plastic surgery. Since many years, dr Wielgus takes part in numerous courses, in foreign and national conferences, which enable him to improve his skills and introduce the latest surgical techniques to EUROCLINIC. The numerous certificates and diplomas obtained throughout his 30-year career prove his professionalism and involvement in plastic surgery. He was chief of the department of plastic surgery in the regional hospital in Sosnowiec. During his 30-year career he performed over 27 thousand surgeries. Between 2006-2008 he was one of the main surgeons in the team of plastic surgeons performing operations improving the looks of female patients in the program „I want to be beautiful” which aired on POLSAT TV.
