Biography: Dr. Jay Recasata Jesus S. He is a graduate of BS Medical Technology at the Far Eastern University Institute of Medicine (NRMF) and proceeded to complete his medical education in the same University. Dr. Recasata spent five years of residency training in General Surgery at the Rizal Medical Center and was chosen to be the Chief Resident on his senior year. Dr. Recasata went on to finish three more years of Plastic Surgery Residency training under Consortium 1, rotating in six different Institutions namely Rizal Medical Center, Makati Medical Center, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Veterans Memorial Medical Center, East Avenue Medical Center and Quezon City General Hospital.Dr. Recasata is certified by the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery - the only board recognized by the Philippine College of Surgeons to certify Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the Philippine Association of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (PAPRAS) and a Fellow of The Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS).
