Biography: My name is Katie and I created Flow in 2013. I wanted to offer a service that gives people the chance to build a rapport with their therapist; working together to understand their problem with the aim of restoring movement and function in a relaxed, engaging environment. I want people to feel better when they have visited Flow, with more confidence and motivation to achieve their goals and ultimately maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.I qualified with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in 2007. I then moved to Devon and I feel privileged to now call it home. I worked as a rotational Physiotherapist to a senior level within the NHS in South Devon; gaining experience in a wide range of core areas, from Trauma and Orthopaedics to Pain Management Physiotherapy, before specialising in musculoskeletal conditions.Outside of work you will normally find me doing something active; be it surfing, snowboarding, horse riding or triathlons. An active lifestyle is in my blood and I feel this helps me to better understand clients and the frustrations/limitations injuries may cause. It also enables me to have insight into different techniques, physical postures and demands required for a range of sports, meaning I can identify areas to work on more quickly and manage these effectively.
