Gareth currently works as a specialist physiotherapist within the NHS working with Dr Stephen Ward, Consultant in Pain Medicine and also as a spinal specialist physiotherapist working alongside Mr Hugh Maurice Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. Before moving to Crawley Gareth was the lead physiotherapist at the Princess Royal hospital in Haywards Heath, where he gained a wealth of experience in all musculoskeletal injuries. Gareth also has extended skills in ordering and interpreting MRI tests and blood results, and has been involved in research into Whiplash Disorders. As well as spinal injuries Gareth has treated a number of sportsmen, with a particular interest in runners, golfers and rugby players. Gareth is also interested in return to work planning and has gained a lot of experience through his work with BackAtWork Group , a company which specialises in early intervention musculoskeletal problems. As a keen runner Gareth also likes to keep active, and his ethos of patient treatment is to keep people doing the activities they like to do

Biography: Mel gained a thorough grounding in all aspects of Physiotherapy working in the NHS and private hospital settings.She specialised in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2001, becoming lead clinician at Cobham Hospital in 2003.Mel worked at St Anthony’s private hospital before moving into a specialist sports injuries clinic headed by former paralympic team doctor, John Reynolds.Her chief clinical interest is in spinal rehabilitation and muscle imbalance reeducation.Mel has been involved in Veterinary Physiotherapy since completing her Postgraduate Diploma in 2002. She has treated all levels of horses from weekend hackers to international eventers, as well as pet dogs to racing greyhounds.Her personal interests include horse eventing, show jumping, Pilates and Yoga.

Biography: Zahra qualified in 2013 achieving a 1st class honours in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from the University of BIrmingham. She started her career at West Sussex Community NHS trust completing her core rotations in Pediatrics, Outpatients and Elderly care. She soon developed a keen interest in treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and went on to specialise in this area in 2015 at Crawly Hospital. On a day to day basis, Zahra works closely with a range of professionals including advanced practitioners, Podiatrists, radiologists and Orthopaedic Consultants. She is experienced in treating a wide variety of patients from post Orthopaedic surgery, acute injuries and Chronic pain. Zahra has a particular interest in lower limb rehabilitation and is a lower limb lead for her department treating with a multitude of pathologies including sporting injuries and persistent knee pain. In her free time, Zahra enjoys staying active and has a passion for outdoor activities including running and long walks in the countryside! As part of her job role she is keen on keeping fit and having a healthy lifestyle.
