About Health & Sports Physiotherapy Pontypool
Cardiff Physiotherapy Clinic is a well established facility where the highly qualified team has been providing exceptional care to people of all ages. Conditions treated here include ankle sprain, whiplash injury, lower back pain and acute, knee pain, osteoarthritis (oa), ligaments, anterior knee pain, wrist pain, tennis and golfer’s elbow, achilles tendonitis, shoulder pain, foot pain, hip and groin pain. Also available are massages and acupuncture. The facility also accepts referrals from sports clubs, nursing homes, solicitors, private medical work, insurance companies and local businesses.

Biography: Daniel graduated from the University Of Wales College Of Medicine, Cardiff in 2003 with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Throughout his career he has developed a broad range of clinical experience, from working with the general public to elite sports athletes. Since 2006, Daniel has worked within the private sector in New Zealand, Australia and the U.K, with a specialist interest in musculoskeletal and sports medicine. He now works as the head physio for the Wales 7s squad.

Biography: Gareth graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 2003, with a 2:1 and Clinical Distinction in Physiotherapy. He has since worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for the Gwent NHS Trust.Gareth is currently undertaking his MSc in Neuro-Muscular Physiotherapy at Cardiff University. He is now a member of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), a group of Physiotherapists recognised for their standard of excellence in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Biography: Becci graduated from Cardiff University in 2008, with a First Class BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Becci began her physiotherapy career working for the Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board gaining a broad range of clinical experience.Becci is currently a full-time PhD research student at Cardiff University, as part of the Arthritis Research UK Biomechanics and Bioengineering Centre, where she undertakes pioneering research in the area of low back pain. Becci has a specialist interest in the treatment of back pain, along with sports injuries and rehabilitation.
