Biography: Dimitri was born in South Africa but went on to study dentistry at the highly acclaimed university in Leuven, Belgium.He qualified in 2006 and after working in Scotland for two years, moved to Brighton & Hove and has been here ever since.Dimitri has a special interest in Root Canal treatments, where he is currently in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree.Dedicated in his tireless pursuit of dental excellence, encompassing a caring, comprehensive approach to oral health, he believes in conservative & preventative dentistry with the goal of increasing the longevity of his patient’s teeth.He devotes many days each year to continuing dental education courses given both in the United Kingdom and abroad.A consummate professional that stays current in the latest advances in dentistry so that his patients receive the finest of care.Through an open-minded attitude, he allows himself to constantly question whether new and innovative dental techniques and equipment can benefit his patients and provide the highest level of care.He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and especially the challenges of complex restorative cases, including cosmetic tooth alignment incorporating a variety of methods (Six Month Smiles, Clear Aligners, Inman Aligners) best suited to each individual patient.
