Biography: Based on the Sunshine Coast, Dr David Ballantyne is an experienced emergency doctor turned cosmetic injector and founder of Inject Skin Clinics. Originally from Ontario, Canada, he completed his Psychology degree at Queens University and moved to Australia in 2004. After studying post-graduate medicine at The University of Melbourne, Dr. Ballantyne began his residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2011. Here he began pursuing his interest in cosmetic medicine, completing the ACMAS Level 1 Diploma. Dr Ballantyne started working in Cosmetic Medicine in 2014, and is a full member of ACAM, with Dermal Filler Certification through Allergan and Galderma. Dr Ballantyne has an extensive background in health, medicine, and psychology and is proud to have worked with and learned from some of the best local and international Plastic Surgeons. In addition to cosmetic injecting, Dr Ballantyne (along with Dr Robert Clarke and Dr James Denton, whose bios can be found below) also offers consulting services and training for nurses wishing to become qualified cosmetic injectors.
