The Instituto Pérez de la Romana is a unique building located a short distance from Albufereta Beach in Alicante, equipped with the most advanced technology to perform Cosmetic surgery, Bariatric surgery, Aesthetic Medicine treatments, Gynecological rejuvenation, Urological procedures, with the most novel techniques in the safest manner.

Dr. Federico Pérez de la Romana, is a highly regarded plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience, who studied in Spain, the USA, and Brazil, and is a member of recognized world associations of Plastic Surgery.
After completing his PhD on this specialisation, Dr. Pérez de la Romana became a pioneer in breast reconstruction cosmetic breast surgery techniques. Furthermore, his collaboration with US professors John Tebbetts and Patrick Maxwell, breast surgery experts and the designers of breast prostheses, made him one of the most recognised experts in the field of breast augmentation, and the use of breast prostheses or lipofilling (fat graft).
The Doctor Federico Perez de la Romana learned from the most recognized specialists in Rhinoplasty, Bleforaplasty and Facelift in the United States.
In addition, due to his membership in the American Plastic Surgery Societies, the Doctor is continuing assisting numerous international symposiums in order to learn the newest technics in the field of Plastic Surgery, especially in abdominoplasty and liposuction (4D High definition and BodyTite) and Body lift after great weight loss.

Biography: Born in Alicante, Bachelor of Medicine and a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Complutense University of Madrid. Doctor received a scholarship and broadened his knowledge in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of California and at the University Hospitals of San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco in 1978/1980. In 1975, he began his practice as a plastic surgeon at the Hospital La Paz, Madrid. He wrote his PhD thesis on breast reconstruction after mastectomy, which made him the pioneer in restorative breast surgery and from that moment he dedicated the mayor part of his professional career to the Breast Cosmetic Surgery and could dominate it in all the fields. In 1978 Dr. Pérez de la Romana founded the Almagro Clinic of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Madrid, national medical center in this field. In 2005 he designed and built the Institute of Perez de la Romana of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Alicante. It is a unique clinic on the Mediterranean coast.
