Biography: He obtained his MBBS in 1983. After gaining experience in a wide range of medical posting in the fields of Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, ENT and Community Medicine, he started his own family practice in 1990 in the bustling town of Pasir Ris. Today this clinic is a thriving practice providing both general medicine and aesthetic services. He obtained his diploma in Family Medicine from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 1992. His interest in dermatology led him to pursue a post-graduate diploma in Family Practice Dermatology at National University of Singapore in year 2000. In 2005, he obtained his Graduaite Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, Wales, UK. Besides his busy practice, he also volounteers at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore), a self-help organization that provides care and support to people wsith Muscular Dystrophy. He helps in fund rainsing for the organization and is an active board member.
