Biography: The Dr. López Mendoza made ??a specialty of plastic surgery at the General Hospital "Dr. Manuel Gea González ". He is board certified in plastic surgery by the Mexican Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is an active member of the Mexican Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic. The Dr. López Mendoza is supported in the sub-specialty in hand surgery, obtaining his certificate by the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Reconstructive Microsurgery Foreign Observership at the University of Tokyo in Japan. Currently spends most of his practice to reconstructive microsurgery of the hand and cosmetic surgery. He has extensive experience in the reconstruction of the hand and in the microsurgical management of lymphedema. He received training in reconstructive microsurgery in the "General Dr. Manuel Gea González" Hospital, where he gained additional experience in all techniques of microsurgical reconstruction of peripheral nerves, breast, head and neck. He supplemented his training at the Hospital "12 de Octubre" in Madrid, Spain in handling the Facial Skeleton. The Dr. López Mendoza sought improving reconstruction techniques and finished the course in advanced highly specialized hand surgery at the General Hospital "Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez" in Mexico City under the tutelage of Dr. Carlos Gargollo Orvañanos. Finally, he sought additional training in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery for lymphedema at the University of Tokyo, Japan under the tutelage of Dr. Isao Koshima who is considered the father of lymphatic surgery.
