Biography: He graduated in Medicine from Universidade de Coimbra (1990-96 with a final average of 80 percent) and holds professional license # 36935. Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (1999-2004 at Hospital de Egas Moniz) after carrying out Public Examinations (Final score of 97.5 % - Decree Law 141 of 25 July 2005, 2nd Series 10/39). In 1999, Mister Matias was placed in the department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Ocidental (C.H.L.O.), where he currently holds a position as Senior Consultant. He divides his hospital activities between Hospital de Egas Moniz and Hospital de São Francisco Xavier. His private activity is concentrated at Hospital St. Louis - Clínica Campo Grande, as Clinical Director of the Institution and of the Aesthetic Department.
