Biography: Dr. Grant grew up in East Kildonan, he attended St. Alphonsus Elementary School, went on to Munroe Jr. High, and graduated from River East Collegiate.  He is married to Maggie Lee-Grant, and has a son Philip, now 13 years old. Dr. Grant graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1994.  He was an active participant in student politics, in his final year he was the President of the Manitoba Dental Students Association or "Senior Stick".  Dr. Grant graduated with several awards, including the Mary Jane Ego Scholarship for excellence in Oral Surgery, the Oral Maxillo-facial Award for proficiency in Oral Surgery, and the Pain and Anxiety Award for making his patients feel comfortable.After graduation, Dr. Grant set up his first practice in Elie, Manitoba.  He practiced part-time in Elie Manitoba for 6 years.  During this time Dr. Grant was also a standing offer agreement contract dentist for Health Canada, practicing dentistry in Aboriginal communities in Northerm Manitoba.  Dr. Grant moved to Pine Falls, Manitoba and started his second clinic, due to the closure of the Isoboard plant in Elie he closed the Elie office, and made Pine Falls his home.In 2010, Dr. Grant purchased the dental practice of Dr. Peter May.  Dr. May was a Regent Avenue Dentist for over 30 years.  Dr. Mays love of dentistry was rivaled only by his love of golf.  He fully retired in the fall of 2010, purchased a winter home in Las Vegas and began his real career of Golf full time.  We have missed Dr. May, but wish him all the best as he enjoys his well deserved retirement. As of Nov 2012, we have relocated our office to Kildonan Place Mall.  We have upgraded our office to digital x-rays to minimize patient exposure to radiation, we have moved to a chartless digital charting system to reduce our dependence on paper and paper waste.  We have improved our sterilization system to reduce paper and plastic waste by using re-usable cassettes instead of sterilization bags.  We have moved to a dry-vac system to prevent water waste.  We are encouraging our dental collegues to the same challenge of providing quality dentistry in an Eco-Friendly way.

Dr Todd Honcharik

Biography: Dr. Brian Maddaford graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2011.  He has already completed one tour of duty in Northern Manitoba as a standing offer agreement dentist for Health Canada.  Brian is a well rounded general dentist with a particular interests in Oral Surgery (extractions),  Endodontics (root canals) and Prosthetic Dentistry (dentures, crown and bridges). Brian is also an avid sports fan, when he is not cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, you will find him playing Hockey during winter months and Baseball in the summer.  Brian is also a dog lover and recreational gardener, he has been a huge asset at both Kildonan Place Dental Centre and our rural practice the Fort Alexander Dental Clinic.

Dr Hermann Lee

Biography: A passionate and dedicated dental health professional, Dr. Hermann Lee is a certified specialist in Orthodontics practicing in Winnipeg for over 28 years.  Dr. Lee Holds an M.Sc Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, and a D.M.D (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and MS (Orthodontics) degrees from Washington University of St. Louis, USA.  He is also an assistant professor at the Faculty of Dentistry for the University of Manitoba, teaching in since 2000.  Dr. Lee believes in efficiency in treatment and is dedicated to minimize treatment time for his patients.  To achieve these goals he has chosen to use exclusively the Speed Braces System or Invisalign in appropriate cases.Dr. Lee has numerous interests, in his spare time he is an avid photographer, classical piano player, math teacher, volunteer for the Chinese Cultural Community Centre, and most recently babysitter to Jackson Lee his first grandchild.  We are very grateful to Dr. Lee for adding Orthodontic treatment to our new office.
