Biography: A former Wills Eye Hospital Fellow. She completed her education at Hacettepe University and Ankara Numune Research and Training Hospital. She is associate professor of ophthalmology at Acibadem University Maslak Hospital, in Istanbul, Turkey. She is one of Turkey’s top vision-correction specialists. Dr. Cosar has trained many surgeons in the use of the excimer laser and has personally performed more than 10,000 vision-correction surgeries. Dr. Cosar has published more than 70 articles, abstracts, and reports in professional journals and has delivered more than 10 invited lectures. She is also a reviewer for 2 ophthalmology journals. She has been interviewed by many television channels and has also been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers in Turkey. She is a consultant for Men’s Health and Baby and You magazines.
