Biography: Dr. Gurpreet Sidhu, a native of the Okanagan, British Columbia, completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the prestigious University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan. Upon his completion with distinction from the program he went on to complete a specialty certificate for administering oral conscious sedation. His specialized training allows him to treat those patients who are fearful or anxious about going to the dentist. He has also attended numerous courses at the famed KOIS centre in Seattle focusing on excellence in comprehensive prosthetic dentistry. Dr. Sidhu holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts Minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. In 2014, Dr. Sidhu opened the doors to Lighthouse Dental Centre, the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. This provided him a platform to share his talents in a state of the art facility so he could grow with his community and focus on his goal of patient centered-dental care.
