Dr Amin Govani

Biography: (BchD Leeds 1989) GDC no 64757 Born in Uganda then came to Leicester in 1972. Dr Amin Govani was educated at Westcoates Secondary School and, Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College Leicester, thereafter qualifying as a dentist from Leeds University Hospital in 1989. In January 1990 he worked as an associate dentist in Loughborough up until April 1992, where he purchased his own practice then known as Govani Dental Surgery. He single handedly ran the practice and developed this. During this time, he was a mentor and Vocational Trainer to newly qualified dentists. In the year 2000, Govani Dental Surgery was awarded the “Investors in People” award. Dr Amin Govani has been a member of the local dental committee and has participated in further training, namely, Orthodontics and Dental Implantology.
