About Maple Dental Care
Maple Dentalcare is an Award Winning Family Dental Practice in Brooklands, Sale, Manchester.
In 2013 we won the British Dental Association's Gold Award for dental care.
We were The British Dental Association's "Dental Practice of the Year 2012"
We have been a Denplan "Excel" Practice since 2005 .
We are good at what we do because we care. At Maple Dentalcare Ltd our first priority is to look after each person individually with the best possible dental treatment. We want our patients to feel safe, and know that the dentist and staff are fully qualified and have the best training they can achieve.
We have a dedicated and competent team who provide excellent dental care.We are committed to developing the dental practice and patient care through education and life-long learning in all aspects of dentistry and customer service.
The Clinical Director Ian Hunt has developed the practice in the last decade to make it one of the leading dental practices in the country. He has created a highly skilled team with special interests in all aspects of dentistry. This means that all patients’ dental needs are provided to the highest standards in modern, pleasant surroundings within the practice.
We accept patients on a Private or Denplan basis. Private Dental Care means a wide choice of up to date dental treatments, the latest materials and more convenient appointment times (Saturday mornings and evenings).
Patients can register as a Denplan Essentials patient, or once they are dentally fit, for Denplan Care. Interest Free Finance is available if required.
We offer a wide range of private dental treatments from white fillings and tooth whitening, to crowns and bridges, hygienist care, root canal treatments, dental implants and Six Month Smiles orthodontic treatment.

Biography: She graduated from the University of Manchester with Honours in 2011. She was awarded the Charles Preston Prize for achieving the highest examination results in the year. Since graduating, she has remained dedicated to continual professional development and regularly attends lectures and courses. She has recently become the Chair of the Bolton branch of the British Dental Association, organising professional development events for local dentists.

Biography: He was born and educated in South Manchester. He obtained his BDS in 1991 and purchased the practice in 1999. He has a keen interest in implant and restorative dentistry with special interest in Endodontics (root fillings). Ian is active in postgraduate education obtaining his Membership of General Dental Practice in 2003 and in 2006 being one of the first to obtain a Diploma in Restorative dentistry awarded by the Faculty of General Dental Practice. Ian is a member of the North West division of FGDP.

Biography: He limits his practice to Implantology and Oral Surgery and sedation. He graduated with honours from Manchester University in 2002. He also won the Edgar Houghton restorative prize and the BDA Young Clinician award for Manchester. After VT he worked as a member of the Central Manchester maxillofacial team for three years during which time he passed the MFDS examination. His maxillofacial work continued at locum registrar level for a year at Walsgrave (Coventry) and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. After eighteen months as a Staff Grade (OMFS) at the Countess of Chester he became Speciality Dentist in Oral Surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Manchester Dental Hospital. He now lectures and is a clinical teaching fellow in oral surgery and sedation to MSc and undergraduate students.
