He then worked for the UN for two years as a full time doctor in a refugee camp. He was trained in Emergency Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has worked in general practice for more than fifteen years. He completed further training with the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgeons in addition to a Diploma of Dermatology and a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine with the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He is a full member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia. He is also Board Certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. His interests include aesthetic medicine and Dermatology, laser procedures, skin cancer and phlebology.
