Medicana IVF Center in Turkey offers a wide range of assisted reproductive technologies including IVF and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection), Embryo and Sperm Cryopreservation, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), ovulation induction, Co-culture (Artificial Uterus) as well as other micromanipulation methods (assisted hatching, defragmentation, blastomere biopsy), epididymal or testicular sperm aspiration/extraction (PESA, TESA, TESE or micro TESE) that are carried out in the laboratory.
We generally prefer blastocyst transfers with high pregnancy rates and low multiple birth risks. At the same time, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical attempts are used for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility by our highly experienced team.
We provide all the fertility treatments and services you would receive in your home country, but at half the price you would pay at Western IVF clinics. During the course of your treatment, you will have the support of highly trained, English-speaking physicians and hospital staff. Selman Laçin

Biography: Dr Selman Laçin graduated from the Faculty of Gulhane Military Medical Academy in 1988 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Izmir Dokuz Eylul University between 1991 and 1996. Dr Laçin began as an assistant professor at the Manisa Celal Bayar University and became an Associate Professor in 2002. After working in the academy for eight years, he moved to Istanbul. Dr Laçin has worked at the Swedish Karolinska Institute, Department of OB/GYN, at Israel Tel-Aviv University, and at the assisted reproduction and IVF Center of the Gulhane Military Medical Academy. Over 80 of Dr Laçin’s articles have been published in local and international scientific journals, and he has also contributed to four books. Between 2004 and 2007, Dr Laçin practised at the Istanbul Memorial Hospital IVF Center. He then established the Medical Park Hospital IVF Center and served as its director from 2007 to 2008, after which he began working for the Medicana Health Group. Dr Laçin is a member of many professional and social organizations at home and abroad. His main areas of interest are hormonal disorders, infertility, IVF and Gynecologic Endoscopic (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) Surgery. Dr Selman Laçin is now the director of the Medicana International Hospital IVF Center in Beylikduzu, Istanbul.

Biography: Dr Aysun Guney Laçin is a gynaecologist who completed her primary and secondary education in Denizli and later graduated from Ege University’s Faculty of Medicine. Dr Laçin completed her speciality training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Haseki Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul between 1992 and 1996. She worked at the Denizli IVF Center from 1998 - 2003 and moved to Istanbul again in 2007, where she worked at the Istanbul Memorial Hospital IVF Center and the Medical Park Hospital IVF Center.
Bülent Alici

Biography: After graduating from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine in 1997, Professor Bülent Alici completed his residency in Urology between 2010 and 2011 at the Taksim Education and Research Hospital. Professor Alici is a urologist who is especially interested in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and urogynecology) and andrology (microTESE, PESA, TESA operations). In 2008, Professor Alici worked at the Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi with Dr R. K. Mishra on minimal access surgery. He also completed a course in urogynecology (needleless and sure-lift) operations at Sant Joan de Deu Hospital in Barcelona. Currently, Professor Alici practices at the Taksim Educational and Research Hospital and also works as a consultant at Medicana International Istanbul Hospital.
Ridvan Seckin Ozen

Biography: Dr Ridvan Seckin Ozen was born in 1966 in Izmir, Turkey. He received his medical degree in 1990 from Gülhane (GATA) Medical Faculty in Ankara. He went on to complete his PhD degree in Medical Genetics in a joint program of the Medical Genetics departments of Gulhane Medical Faculty and the University of Pittsburgh. Until 2000, Dr Ozen worked in the GATA Molecular Genetics Lab in Ankara. After completing several projects in population genetics, genomics, biotechnology, and prenatal and postnatal molecular genetics diagnosis, he specialized in reproductive genetics and the characterization of affected human embryonic lines. Dr Ozen performed and improved preimplantation genetics diagnosis techniques for six years at the Reproductive Genetics Institute in Chicago, which is recognised as the worldwide reference lab. In 2007, he moved to the Children’s Memorial Hospital Research Center at Northwestern University in Chicago. In 2009, Dr Ozen established the Istanbul Genetics Group of which he is the owner and Medical Director today.
