Biography: Dr. O’Brien intended to enter medical school after graduation, but he missed the application deadline by two weeks. Considering his options, he decided to apply to dentistry school, which turned out to be the perfect fit for Dr. O’Brien, allowing him to use both his scientific and creative sides. Dr. O’Brien received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Saint Mary’s University in 1973, and went on to complete a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Dalhousie University. Upon graduation, he took a position with the New Brunswick Department of Health, and in 1979 he opened his private practice in Moncton, where he continues today to provide patients with outstanding care.Dr. O’Brien believes that continual learning is essential to dentistry, and in 1992 he went to San Antonio, Texas to complete a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). The following year, he fulfilled a fellowship with the Academy of Dentistry International (ADI). Dr. O’Brien received the Atlantic Canada Dentist of the Year award in 1995, and was presented the Award of Excellence by Millennium Aesthetics in 1999. He is a member of the New Brunswick Dental Society, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. O’Brien also serves as a dental consultant for Atlantic Blue Cross.

Biography: Dr. Victor Quartey first earned his degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDS) from Dalhousie University; prior to this he earned his undergraduate education at Mount Allison University. Dr. Quartey is passionate about oral surgery and dental implants. He stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry by attending dental seminars and continuing education courses in Canada and around the world. In his spare time, Dr. Quartey loves to spend time at home with the family and loves to travel. Dr. Quartey strives to deliver service above and beyond expectations. He always looks for new techniques to improve the patient experience. Dr. Quartey is a member of the New Brunswick Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.
