About Morningside Dental Clinic
This Edinburgh Dental Clinic offers high quality dental treatments and provides a dental care plan to encourage patients to visit the dentist for regular dental examinations and treatments at affordable rates. Dental treatments provided at the clinic include tooth coloured fillings, placement of crowns, bridges and veneers to improve the appearance of the smile of patients, surgical placement of dental implants to replace missing teeth and fitting dentures. Aesthetic skin rejuvenation Treatment for lines and wrinkles and dermal filler injections are also administered at the clinic.

Biography: David hails from the West coast of Ireland from a family of dentists. He qualified from Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in 2003. He then moved to Edinburgh to complete his vocational training and has worked as an associate at a private Edinburgh dental practice for the past 7 years. Having established his roots in the Southside of Edinburgh, David purchased Morningside Dental Clinic in 2012. David has particular interests in short term orthodontic treatment and preventative based family dentistry. He is also qualified to restore and place dental implants. In his free time, David is kept busy by his son and daughter and enjoys playing football and tennis when he gets the chance.

Biography: Susan Morison qualified from Edinburgh Dental Hospital and School in 1983 and went from there to work in practice at 150 Morningside Road. After giving birth to triplet daughters in 1996, Susan moved to practice nearer her home in East Lothian where she became owner and principal dentist in 2000. Having sold her practice in late 2014 she has come back to her dental roots and is again working at Morningside Dental Clinic. Susan is experienced in working with nervous, phobic patients and enjoys all types of dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetically pleasing outcomes. When not working, Susan can be found trundling up and down the country in her truck ferrying her daughter and horses to events.

Biography: Susan’s first ever job was as a dental nurse at Morningside Dental Clinic. She has worked at the practice for 22 years. Although normally Susan works in the surgery, she can sometimes be found at reception with a welcoming smile. Susan has 3 grown up children, and is kept busy outside work of work hours by her grandson Kayden. Her hobbies including reading, swimming and of course socialising.

Biography: Maryann has worked as a dental nurse at Morningside Dental Clinic for 24 years. Maryann enjoys reading, in particular murder mysteries on her Kindle; puzzles (Sudoku and wordsearches) and is an avid fan of the ‘NCIS and CSI’ series. Maryann is kept busy by her teenage son and has one cat and one dog.

Biography: Leigh-Anne studied for her Dental Nursing Diploma at Edinburgh’s Telford College. She has been a dental nurse since 2010 having worked previously as a book keeper, railway engineer, admin assistant and in Information Technology. Outside of work, Leigh-Anne can often be found sitting at a computer. Whether it’s repairing, upgrading or just surfing the net, she is passionate about computers. She has one grown up daughter and enjoys holidays in the sun and socialising.
