Biography: MA MBBChir FRCSEng FRCSEd FRCS(Plast)I studied medicine at Oxford and Cambridge. I also spent a period of time as a teacher in anatomy at Cambridge University before undertaking general surgery training for the FRCS qualification. I then specialised in plastic surgery; training in several units including Cambridge, South East Thames and Edinburgh. Along the way I spent some time in research at the renowned Medical Research Council in Cambridge. I trained in the subspecialty of cleft lip and palate surgery in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Billericay and Great Ormond Street Hospitals as well as visiting several units abroad. I was invited to join (and am at present) a primary surgeon with the supraregional cleft team in Cambridge. I am currently working to establish a fully intergrated multidisciplinary skin laser service based at the Spire Cambridge Lea.My special interests within cosmetic private practice extend toFacial surgery: facelift, necklift, browlift, eyelid blepharoplasty, nose reshaping or rhinoplasty, prominent or bat ears.Cosmetic breast surgery: breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift (mastopexy), gynaecomastia.Body contouring: abdominoplasty, liposuction and ultrasonic liposuction, thigh and arm lifts.Member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic SurgeonsMember of the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and IrelandMember of the British Burns AssociationMember of the British Skin Laser Study GroupMember of the Scottish Society for Paediatric SurgeryMember of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons
