Biography: * ualified as a physiotherapist in 1981 from University Hospital of Wales Cardiff * Specialised for 10 years in the treatment of Neurological disorders and is a Bobath trained physiotherapist * Worked in Amman Jordan in a Private Orthopaedic Clinic and helped design and set up a physiotherapy department in a local hospital * Previously employed advising NHS staff on correct lifting and handling procedures and the prevention of work based back injuries * Interest in work/hobby related musculoskeletal disorders * Avid music lover, pianist and newcomer to learning the violin, Sue has become increasingly involved in treating repetitive strain injuries in musicians * A keen skier and qualified dry ski slope instructor; competed in the Welsh dry ski slope championships and has spent many years climbing and ski/touring; this has given her a personal insight into climbing/skiing related injuries * Qualified as an animal therapist Sue has applied her skills to horse/rider related problems * Sue currently works part time at Natural Balance and part time in the Outpatient department at the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust Hospital Sue is a current member of the following professional organisations: * Chartered Society of Physiotherapy * Health Professions Council * Association of physiotherapists in Animal Therapy * Association of Physiotherapists with an interest in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy * Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice
