Near East University Hospital is an affiliated institution of the Near East University, the largest and leading university of Cyprus which is located in the northern part of Nicosia, the capital of North Cyprus.
The services of Near East University Hospital are carried out within a complex comprising over 56,000 square-meter indoor area including 209 private, single-patient rooms, 8 operating theatres, 30-bed Intensive Care Unit, 17-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, an advanced laboratory where a wide array of medical and experimental tests can be carried out, 22 other labs specializing on certain medical tests, a cutting-edge diagnostic imaging center, the most comprehensive surgical department performing operations in even the most sophisticated medical issues including neurosurgery, microsurgery and cardiovascular issues, blood bank, check up centre, a dental hospital which is the first private dentistry clinic that obtained the highest grade from evaluation of JCI for its clinical excellence within the first year of its establishment, and the most advanced Radiotherapy Centre of the Eastern Mediterranean region equipped with Rapid Arc Technology. The hospital owns a fully equipped air-jet ambulance which is also the first and only in the region.

Biography: In 1953, he was born in Arodez Village of Paphos Town in Cyprus. He completed his primary and secondary education in Paphos and went to high school in Nicosia Turkish High School. Dr Erişir was a warrior during his student life, then he was discharged in 1972 and went to Istanbul for higher education. He registered to İstanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty. He graduated from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 1979 and worked abroad for 2 years. In 1982, he turned back to Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty and he started to study for a postgraduate degree of ENT Department. He bacame a specialist in the field of ENT and started to practise as a chief assistant in the department of ENT. In 1995, he assumed the title of associate professor and in the same faculty, he assumed the title of professor in 2002. He did many scientific researches in his field of interest facial aesthetics surgery and sleep apnea. Dr Erişir is one of the founders of Facial Aesthetics Association in Turkey. He was retired from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 2012 and he returned to his own country Cyprus. Dr Erişir has an approximate hundred national and international scientific publications. He is married and has two daughters. He speaks German, English and Greek in advanced level.
